Roesones Earthquake
1651, Clay 7 - Am earthquake struck Rockwell.
Reports after the Earthquake:
Six major fissures now cross the town.
• Rhiev's Run - approx 1/2 mile long, crosses the city wall and comes within yards of the Blacktower
• The Demon Plunge - 2.5 mile long starting about 1/4 mile east of town
• The Tear - 3/4 mile long in merchant district (doesn't breach the wall)
• The Rip - 150 yard long rift in a residential district
• Jagged Canal - 100 yard long rift near the docks - filled with water
• (no name) - 75 yard running along the wall, mostly filled with rubble from collapsed wall
Some 450 known dead so far
This includes the Baron, Teried Roesone. His oldest daughter, Marlae Roesone, is assuming the mantle of Baroness. a Coronation will be planned as soon as conditions permit
Unknown how many are missing, but estimated in the hundreds, we will know more when more recovery is completed
