Gold is a major commodity found in Cier. As a precious metal, gold can forged into a variety of currencies, jewelry, and even armor for ornamental effect. The superconductivity of gold also has useful industrial applications. The most common trade-able form of gold is the gold coin.
All in all, it is a very valuable resource, outmatched only by Rice .
