Insomnia Volcano Hive

Overview

The main Sancta's hive is the 2nd hugest Aferchites hive, count on 100 km² on surface with many beings and sort of living buildings.
Estimated population : Superior to 1 billion.

Cartilage

The Cartilage was basically an Afernaza clone, as thin as a iron bar, he controls the whole underground network, linked with him by nerves or little eyes, he’s capable of hearing all Aferchites on the hive at the same time, and linked good information to Afernaza, Shefira or Raiden Belfort. The place where he lives is the middle place where almost all Aferchites must go through for reaching another part of a gallery, he’s surrounded by 2 special Aferchites which are gallery keepers.

Putrefactor

The Putrefactor is a nightmare like all Aferchites which is...a huge mouth with 10 eyes "judging you". Its role is to eat dead Aferchites or excrement and then recycle them and eject the biological substances which are useful to a little network of “roots” linked to the ground where he literally eject within the ground, around the hive. It also was a source of fear during Sancta's War, to be eaten alive by this monstruous thing.

Story

Place in Sancta’s War

The zone was a major part of the Aferchites goal, after the destruction of 2 major hives on Klusakr, they tried to possess the zone which was close to Insomnia, they were pushed back several times, one by the Travelers artillery, the Polytinger. An another time by the Sonic Weaponry, the last time by Consortium and Travelers merged starships against the whole Aferchites armies. In the end the zone was “awaken” by the Melenis Artifact that Zhar'Dark used 4 times and stimulate the volcano.
