Drifthaven

Drifthaven is a hostile city to guests, as there is almost no place for common folks. Nobility provide their common services and most good need to be imported at high cost. Generally though positions in Drifthaven are for the most favored and loyal servants, as life is quite comfortable in the city itself. There is a large central hookah and ale house at each level above each of the 4 large entrances that lie at each Cardinal direction. These are provided for the common people and are staffed by lizardborn who serve Sadish, though they are easily bribed and rumor mongers. They are referred to as West 2, North 1 and such.
The actual courtyard of Drifthave is a wild microcosm of The Great Marsh that is dominated by the looming tower of The Azneranday, and is maintianed by Sadish's membrum The Lady Eldwyrm. It is an area curated by Sadish himself to have the rarest and most violent specimens within the Great Marsh. Much of it remains shrouded in Mist and it is through here that The Great Marsh Run ends. The Last Day of the Race is often considered the most dangerous, and is one of the few times the stone "gates" of Drifthaven are risen. The "gates" are called so because they are large stone slabs set with stairwells that are the only non magical way to gain access to the city itself.   Standing as high as the wall of Difthaven, but dwarfed by The Azneranday is Wandershell. He mostly appears as an especially verdant mountain, though the foliage is especially confusing. Powerful weather magic seems to enchant different portions of the gargantuan creatures, locking part of his back in the red brown of autumn, and another in summer green, and the new in the black of a newly burned forest. Each section seem to be dominated by a single large wooden tower and these is a multi tried circular structure at the apex of the mountain. He currently is occupying the Northern "gate" and would block the party's access. The Northern Gate Stone is raised and his massive head is inside the courtyard of Drifthaven. This allows him to converse with Sadish and observe the final leg of the race. The "Greenhouse" is where many of the Grun that live on Wandershell live, and it is currently where Yehani is being held "prisoner" for attempting to steal a sky bloom. He is allowed to be free as his expertise in cross breeding is important to Wandershell but he isn't allowed to leave.     Wandershiell is visiting Drifthaven as he does, once evey half century to meet with Sadish and observe The Marshlight Run,a deadly contest that attrats massive amounts of vistors to the normally hostile city.
