The Bahtian Calendar
Description
The continent has a unified calendar system rooted in the worship of the 10 draconic gods. The year is made up of 10 Claws (months), each with 4 Talons (weeks) of 10 days each. There are 10 “classical” draconic names for the month. Although recognized universally, communities often have local names for some months. For example, in Digran the fifth month is called “summit” instead, in celebration of when the army of the Incarnate of War Senior finished conquering the mountains. In between the 400 days of the year is ubdee: A 7 day period outside of the year. Ubdee is typically a time for carnivals, vacations, and feasting. During this period the ethereal plane is closer to the world so it’s also a time of danger. The days are unnamed, so it’s hard (and unbelievably rude) to schedule anything during ubdee.Months
The names of the months in common and in chronological order are:- Pursuit
- Imagination
- Punchline
- Balance
- Brawn-The campaign began on the first day (5/3/1) of the third claw of Brawn.

- Ahya [aww-yuh] (no translation out of draconic): a draconic word for god, it is taboo to translate into other languages. Rude to say aloud except in church, this name is rarely used (instead one would say “The seventh month” or something) and only rarely (and never for religious communities) would name anything after the seventh month
- Flame
