Dwarves
Nomadic people by nature the dwarves are most at home in the forests or foot hills of the world, boating up and down it's rivers, or traveling on the open road in their wagons. Dwarves are renowned for their carpentry, tracking and hunting, and their very colorful clothing. Dwarves are the people who are closest to nature as a whole. Most Dwarven spell casters are druids, they travel and live in clans for the most part and tend towards matriarchy with most of the women having more time for education than the men folk.
The clans tend to travel in the same areas with a circuit of their general area taking as short as a year but more often a full decade. Each family or clan will have areas that they keep secret, hide-aways in the wilds away from civilization in these places they perform celebrations and leave themselves caches for the future. The drink of choice of the dwarven people is vodka. Possibly because the barrels of potatoes and yeast can be buried and left for several years and as long as it is strained, it will still be perfectly drinkable. For non-dwarves who want quality vodka, a distillery run by dwarves is considered the best way to go.
Dwarves may leave their clan or family for a time, settling in a city or village for a decade or two before usually returning to the family fold. Often times a cousin, sibling, or friend will take over whatever they have before they leave to return home. Dwarves consider this just apart of life and everyone needs a bit of 'alone time' once in a while. This is the source of most dwarves who go adventuring. While some question 'exiles' from one clan or another such cases are rare. Often a 'time of banishment' will be put in place for lesser crimes but for the more serious ones death is usually the sentence.
