Dorncaer Ynvvæth (a.k.a. Greasy Green-Eyes)

Dorncaer is a half-elf from far-away Eridinlaw on the Avernalan continent. Though the Eridinlavans have cordial relations with the elves of Orfannis, that benevolence does not extend to mixed-race relationships or the children that result from them. Dorncaer was cast out of his small village at the age of twelve, when his human mother died. He has never known his elvish father. For a while, he survived as an urchin, until he fell in with a band of smugglers "bound for glory," as they put it. At the age of fifteen, he found himself again abandoned on the streets of Oroentig. He made his way to Brygenhafen, where he joined a ship's crew as a cabin boy. After two years, he decided the maritime life was not for him, and he crept overboard one dark night in Itaros. Over the next dozen years, he continued to make his way to the northeast, until he landed in Vvathaf. There, for whatever reason, he was taken in by Moonbeam and taught the ways of the Fence. He has been at her right hand ever since.
