Edrei is the queen of Abaethagar, a realm of drow who dwell in the lower reaches of the Middledark lying generally beneath the Estinos Imperium and Ronic Plain. She is a servant and vassal of Lîfidîth. Her army is numerous and powerful.

Personal history

It is the way of the Drow for wars of succession to break out upon the death of a sovereign. Edrei's case was no different. Born fourth, she had an older brother, two older sisters, and two younger brothers. Edrei enlisted the aid of her brothers when she perceived her mother as growing weak. In a coordinated assault, they assassinated their mother and sisters in a short and precise coup. A small amount of skirmishing took place in a corner of Ched Nasad the following day, but Edrei's victory and supremacy were quickly evident and she has held absolute power ever since.
