Borvine

This is a small domestic animal, kept largely by races that live underground. It eats primarily fungus and moves very slowly as a result.

Basic Information

Anatomy

A Borvine has small vestigial eyes and navigates primarily through sound and touch. They have thick, soft coats of fur, and long whiskers.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They consume primarily mushrooms, but also eat insects and other invertebrates.

Behaviour

Mostly docile, Borvines are known to be very skittish, running from any perceived threat or danger by scattering while honking loudly.

Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

They are kept for milk and meat. The milk is dark yellow and very fatty, and the meat tastes similar enough to beef that some less reputable butchers pass it off as such.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

They can sense vibrations in the air thanks to their extremely sensitive whiskers, allowing them a short-range form of blind-sight.
