House Possums
House Possums are creatures of myth and legend, said to enter the houses of those who are suffering, attempting to bring them some small bit of comfort.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Not much is known about House Possums, just that they appear as regular Possums, but have long blonde hair, walk on their hind legs and wear little pink and white aprons. Some people claim that they are Fey, but the House Possums have all reportedly denied this.
Ecology and Habitats
Almost nothing is known about the natural habitat of the House Possum, only that they are capable of navigating villages, towns and even large cities unseen.
Behaviour
They carry a piece of graphite and parchment around in order to introduce and explain themselves.
They always seem to introduce themselves as "Matilda", so it is unknown whether there is only one House Possum, or many that all use the same name.
They usually try to bring comfort to a suffering person by cooking them a hearty meal, and will often bring their own ingredients, though they can only bring as much as their little Possum hands can carry (Which isn't much).

Common Myths and Legends
It is said that if you mistreat a House Possum, you will be found completely gutted, and stuffed with rosemary and thyme, within two weeks.
