Scalaritic and Electroscalaritic Waves and Radiation
Scalaritic and electroscalaritic waves are both types of longitudinal wave that are displaced and emitted from their initial projection point and propagate toward deviants. The concept of a field was initially proposed by Maria Scalar in 1359 [whom the particle is named after], as an attemptive explanation for the deviative manifestations of Wakers, Nyx, and Daemon. According to Scalar, the Six Sisters left behind a particle residue, which has since become an elementary particle due to its propagation of the Scalaritic field. The particle, which in nature behaves not unlike the Higgs Boson, is said to provide a universal explanation for the remaining consciousness of living organisms after the deaths of the Sisters, and ultimately provided a glimpse into how their powers worked.
Neurological emplications
Despite what many say, Maria Scalar was not a physicist. Rather, she operated in the fields of neurology. By the early 1350s, the human brain was already mostly understood, yet many branches still left researchers perplexed; not because of how complex the brain was, but rather, how simple it was. Researchers concluded that more than seventy percent [70%] of human sentience was not founded in the brain. But if it wasn't in the brain, where was it? that was the question neurologists began asking themselves as they searched. As the decade came to a close, Scalar published her explanation, along with whatever supporting evidence she could find. Scalar's theories were proven in the mid 1400s, as the MARC confirmed the existence of the Scalar field, and in 1473, the particle as well.Scalar field
The Scalar field is a large sphere of scalar particles that are connected through an atmosphere, bulk of matter, or a pool liquids, that allow the particles to communicate via vibrations. The particles, although being almost equally spread throughout the field, congregate toward deviations and the Sister's creations, and remain incredibly attracted toward sentient beings [Wicht] and intricately designed so as to provide consciousness.Electroscalaritic radiation
Electroscalaritic radiation refers to a concentration of a large enough amount of scalar particles to detach electrons, atoms, and/or molecules, thereby ionizing them. The point of concentration, refered to as the "scalp", attracts all nearby scalar particles, which furthers its radius of attraction, which in turn attracts more particles. This process continues until the scalp destabilizes, collapsing in on itself and causing a reaction that converts the kinetic energy into a form of electromagnetic radiation [specifically neutron radiation, alpha radiation, or an extremely energetic gamma], which causes nuclear transmutation, photodisentigration, and induced radiation. In addition, the reaction creates a superheated ionized shockwave, and a nuclear fission reaction. Because of this, governments have poured extensive research into creating weapons based around the concept. In the modern day, several designs for nuclear warheads have utilized electroscalaritic radiation, but most famous and widely used weapon by far is the ES Caliber. The ESC is a bullet designed with enough material to sustain an unstable scalp reaction and the projectile's rear. The bullet itself is incredibly small, being both the size and shape of a single. pea divided in half. Despite the projectile's size, the scalps initial reaction prompts .40 calibers worth velocity into the bullet, and its secondary radiative process makes it nearly one hundred percent [100%] lethal when it penetrates a living organisms skin, while misfires remain completely harmless. The reason for its popularity is most likely founded in its adjustable lethality rate, incredibly small and lightweight size, low-priced mass production, and its ability to penetrate ES Ion Shields.Localization
Due to being a form of longitudinal wave, the scalaritic field requires an atmosphere in order to propagate, as the wave communications propagate in the same or opposite direction of the initial medium displacement. Because of this, the displacement to the medium is parallel to the propagation of the wave, and waves can be either straight or round.
The Scalar field moves along by vibrating molecules of gas, liquid or solid. When the initial displacement begins, it pulls in on the surrounding particles. This creates a drop in pressure, which pulls in more surrounding air particles, creating another drop in pressure, which pulls in particles even farther out. Each vibrating molecule passes its vibration on to the next molecule, allowing the wave to propagate. The most necessary part of this process is that molecules propagate the Scalar wave from its origin to its destination. The same thing happens when you hear sounds, as sound waves behave identically. However, in the vacuum of space, there are no molecules to propagate either waves, so the Scalar field cannot communicate.
