Javenesh Stoutclaw

Javenesh(Java to his friends), hails from an incredibly important noble family in his homeland of Ga'Hoole, though one would be forgiven from not realizing this from his apperance alone. Java is a large and scruffy looking Owlin. He is covered in various scars from head to talon and his clothes tend to be ragged and worn down. He is in the process of molting, and so his feathers are always ruffled despite his best efforts, and one can always tell where he has been by the pile of feathers strewn about the place. Javenesh doesn't think highly of his noble background, and has done his best to obscure that fact while attending Strixhaven. He enjoys bartending at the Bow's End and making small talk with the patrons there, and he is also a rising star on the school's Silkball Team.
It is a poorly kept secret at this point that Javenesh is engaged to Shuvardi Glintmantle in an arranged marriage which will play some role in them assuming their roles in the society of Ga'Hoole. Despite this, the pair is rarely seen together, and don't seem to get along well when they are. From this many would never assume that the two were actually close childhood friends.
