Clayquarry

Clayquarry is a town located on the eastern shore of central Minnet Hwell, and it is known for its nearby quarries of clay and other soft, ruddy stone materials, which are primarily used to make bricks, primarily in the more industrial city of Hopton.

History

Clayquarry grew to prominence when Minnetian humans cooperated with dwarves to identify the earth's richness of clay in the area and to make bricks out of the clay.  They enlisted the help of the dwarves who eventually took leadership roles in the quarrying of the mineral goods.

Simple wooden buildings with clay-stucco reinforcement; surprisingly little brick buildings since the bricks are made elsewhere and due to the surrounding abundance of pine for lumber construction.
