Epleton

Epleton, "apple town," is a quaint halfling village devoted to cultivating apples and pumpkins, and baking goods using these and other ingredients, milling the flour with watermills located along the Lange River. Some friendly elves live in the town as well. The town is a popular stop along the road from Kers to Briggeton or Queysted, especially for a daytime lunch.

History

Originally a halfling settlement, Epleton emerged from a grove of apple trees which they began to cultivate and create a wide variety of baked goods and juices from the fruit.  The town developed along the Lange River and the Havn Highway, Moethe Havn's main road.

Tourism

Epleton is famous for its baked goods and ciders, and is a must-stop for land travelers, whether overnight or for a lunch.  Each fall the town hosts the Apple Festival, celebrating the new harvest.

Architecture

Buildings are typically a stone or brick base and lower-half with a wooden finish and thatched roofs.  Crossbeams adorn the charming buildings, and the buildings share a cohesive look while each building maintains its own unique charm.

Geography

Shallow and gentle river, relatively flat section of land before the hills pick up of the Clover Downs.
