Loch Chocor

Loch Chocor, "Heart Lake," (Elvish: Llynrhabys) is the lake which the Vane River flows into. The surface is always rippled from the river's flow. The water of this lake flows into the lakes to the east and west: Loch Chon and Loch Shyn. The river flows into Loch Chocor from the wooded slope and valley of the Caradda Forest, with a dramatic backdrop of the Forenthir Highlands.  Rubies are said to be found beneath the lake's water, which is fairy dark, compared to the white Vane River, green Loch Chon, and blue Loch Shyn.

Geography

Dense forested valley to the southeast, dramatic cliffs to the northwest, which atop lies the Forenthir Highlands.

Localized Phenomena

Under the light of a full, overhead moon, rubies shine red.
