Mathe Pamona

Mathe Pamona is the religious organization that is based on the Subetian pantheon and the belief that the Twelve Hwells ("Twells") of Pamona (now called "Orcli") were once a connected landmass. Their goal is to reconnect the Twells through beseeching the quieted gods, although the means of this are unknown and many have different beliefs on what is necessary for the reconciliation of islands. 
 There are anti-orc sentiments within the organization, and many believe that reconciliation and the restoration of "Pamona" as a single continent will enable cooperation (of all races) to overthrow the orcs (an invasive species to Orcli). It is primarily human in terms of membership and ethnocentrism, although some other species are represented, most notably a faction of dwarf adherents with the additional view that the reconnected Pamona will involve the raising of mountains - this belief is referred to as "Mont Pamona."

Structure

Presbyters evangelize and recruit, Mandrites (one from each hwell) oversee, and the Archimandrite is the leader.

Culture

Adherents are viewed as a bit looney or radical, although they share the same pantheon and the presbyers and mandrites can have other positions in other organizations, including the Eclipsian Endoxa, local leadership, or trade.

History

The organization popped up hundreds of years ago under the pioneering leadership of Concordance I, who studied and believed that the islands used to be one, and the event that separated the islands can be undone to similarly reunite the islands.  Concordance I evangelized his view and established the structure of Mathe Pamona.  Today, Concordance XXVII serves as the Archimandrite.
