Mother Tempt Pearlmother is the current governor of Caivh Hwell. She is one of the most-respected gnomes, sometimes referred to as the "Queen of Gnomes" from non-gnomes and the "Gnome Mother" from gnomes. These nicknames are suitable as she is the head of the Gnome Council. She does a good job at relating to and representing grass and glass gnomes.
She wears pearl jewelry, adorning her wrinkled skin and silvery hair pulled back in a bun. She typically wears purple robes and uses a cane. She rules from Mossellia and rarely travels outside of it, indicative of her Mossellia-centric view of Caivh Hwell. Nonetheless, she has secured the vote of even the Glass Gnomes in Trepsilton and Nickwick due to her age and prominence.
She is known for speaking her mind, which usually involves sharp insults. She tends to overstep her rule by ordering gnome agents to do her bidding, much like the elf and dwarf "monarchs."
