Stilton

Stilton is a town in northern Tockotch which borders the Mysnawa Nwm, Tockotch's massive swamp. The town's buildings are built on wooden stilts, providing height from the marshy ground underneath. The bay of Stilton is very narrow and more like a channel.   The town is able to exist in an otherwise-unsuitable region due to its proximity to the Awmei Spring. A boardwalk highway connects Stilton to Bordford, traversing the Boglands. The town's residences typically find work or interest in some aspect of the swamp, such as researchers, foragers, cultivators, archaeologists, and explorers.   Stilton is one of the three "Swamp Towns," along with Bordford and Vagalou.  It is sometimes called "Swampton" due to the proximity of the Mysnawa Nwm, especially when referred to at the same time as Bordford, at this time often nicknamed "Bogford."
