Svetli
Svetli is a continent of Subetia located southwest of Kyrrst and northeast of Orcli along the diagonal of Subetia's four continents. Svetli is a jagged land of sparse settlements, long history, wild adventure, fierce heroes, and wondrous mysteries.
Geography
Svetli's geography is varied among its seven regions, although the continent as a whole is characterized by its rocky terrain, cooler temperatures, high winds, fierce waves, and wild frontier.
Hundreds of smaller islands dot the jagged coastline, but the continent is organized into seven regions on four islands, which include one larger island (Svet Havn) with four hoffs (regions) by and three smaller hwells (islands).
- Oodh Hoff: from Subetian "arm," Oodh Hoff is the southern region of Svet Havn, and is a long and narrow stretch of windswept hills whose grasses and trees turn green in the short summers and fade to light brown in the long winters.
- Onne Hoff: from Subetian "ridge," Onne Hoff is the central region of Svet Havn, characterized by its mountain ridges and maple tree valleys in between.
- Eekh Hoff: from Subetian "heart," Eekh Hoff is Svet Havn's western region, characterized by its rocky highland landscape along with its many ponds, lakes, fields, and coastal cliffs.
- Kazhe Hoff: from Subetian "wind," located on the northern part of Svet Havn, connected only by a narrow landbridge. Characterized by its mountains (Svetli's highest), fjords, high winds, and mighty pines.
- Henkja Hwell: from Subetian "frontier," is the first of three islands located northeast of Svet Havn, and is characterized by its pine forests, lichen-covered rock formations, and fast-moving rivers.
- Ohnivh Hwell: from Subetian "fang," Ohnivh Hwell is characterized by its dark and sharp rock formations created by its volcanic origins, offering little vegetation and few trees.
- Samme Hwell: from Subetian "cold," Samme Hwell is the northernmost region of Svetli, characterized by its rocky land covered with lichen. A valley with volcanic soil offers crop cultivation potential, and its few trees are old and wind-twisted, yet fruitful and revered.
