Convent of Sankt Pyrrhosjak
In Evengrad lies the Convent of Sankt Pyrrhosjak.
A small chapel by three longhouses makes up the entire convent.
Here the Sisterhood of Saint Pyrrhosjak live and work rehabilitating the lost, feeding the hungry and teaching those who seek education. The houses of the convent are in bad shape with the roof being patched in many places and water leaking into the buildings when it rains.
The main building is a stone walled chapel with a patched up roof, the inside is covered in faded frescoes showing the life and death of Saint Pyrrhosjak and the wooden pews are scratched and deformed from the ceiling's leakage.
Regardless of all of this the sisters live, work and pray here.
The sisters' sleeping quarters are in one of the three longhouses, the second is a workshop and library while the last longhouse is where the inhabitants in recovery live, eat and sleep.
The convent is surrounded by a spacious garden of medicinal herbs and funghi that is enclosed in a cobblestone wall separating the seclusion of the cloister from the rest of Evengrad.
Though the village-turned-neighborhood is a quiet place to live the sisters like their peace more than that even.
