Eastern Deeplands

The Eastern Deeplands may as well be their own universe. They are vast, larger than the Western Deeplands even and their cultures are as diverse as those found otherplaces or above ground. Few travel and exchange happens between East and West but there is talk of mysterious technology from these far away places making their way to the markets of Styx. Powder that creates flash and thunder with a burn has been imported from the ancient and powerful Empire of Dìxià Wángguó but such technologies are highly experimental and many scholars say they will never catch on with the people of the West. The Eastern Deeplands are home to many cultures on its islands and continents, there are great forests and lakes and deserts and frozen mountaintops and cities that dwell under the sea, legends of these places are carried far by the few caravans that go between here and there.
