Korvantei

Korvantei are large oxen-like beast of burden native to the everdark caverns west of Styx, used primarily by Niemord and Ma’tika in their caravans.
They are of stocky build with bulging muscles and broad shoulders but with no horns for self defense.
Rather their powerful hooves are used for kicking and their corrosive spit is used to deter enemies.

Their skin is entirely see through showing their organs and blood flow but exceedingly hard and their heads are shaped similarly to axolotles.

Korvantei leather is a prized material for making extremely durable leather armors like those used as exosuits by the Ma'tika.
