Mechanical Wonderwork

The Mechanical Wonderwork is a collossal machine that the Dwarves unearthed within the ruins they founded Deephold in.

It is a huge mechanical lift that raises an entire room with metal walls many miles up a vertical tunnel to the surface and back again.

The Wonderwork is sparsely understood but the Dwarves at the very least unlocked the secret to operating it and now use it to lift goods and people in and out of the Deeplands making Deephold one of the most prosperous trade cities in the region.
