To them the Goddess is the reason they descended into the Deeplands and the reason they were able to thrive there.
Serkatha is associated chiefly with darkness and spiders, linked by some to the Hells and demonic powers at least by alliance and relation she is the premiere Goddess of almost all Sumraki-Ashaī nations.
One major cult of the Goddess is the Church of Serkatha as it is found in the City State of Styx.
Serkatha was once known as the Dark One and worshiped by the Sumraki-Ashaī's ancestors at the time of the War of the Ancients.
Serkatha, oft referred to by believers simply as "The Goddess" goes by many names including the Spider Mistress, Lady of Shade or the Maiden, Mother and Mistress.
