Cathal Ó Caorthann
Cathal is a young cosantóirí sliabh boy who the party rescued from pursuit by winter wolves while travelling the Tsolenka Pass.
Cathal and his escorts were attacked by a shoosuva while the boy was out on his first hunting trip, a rite of passage among his people. (The hunting trip is a rite of passage, not the demon.) While both the adults were killed defending Cathal, the boy escaped, only to nearly drown then briefly perish in the battle between the party and the wolves. Revived by Sylvain, Cathal then led the party back to Corrangealai despite the considerable language barriers between them, where they encountered his mother Sláine, who was very grateful for the return of her youngest child, even if it came with the news her wife had been killed.
