Drool of Ammit

It was a quiet afternoon. A few of my colleages were already comfortably, making family plans. Those plans were abruptly canceled, when the Drool of Ammit was spotted. The horns were sound, everybody needed to return underground. Everywhere you looked, you could see panic in their eyes. While guiding people to the bunker, I heard a crying child in the distance, away from the closest bunker. After finding the four year old boy crying alone with his toy horse. I see the Drool coming and realise I wasn't fast enough.

The Drool of Ammit is an acidic rainstorm that traverses through the land once each month. It travels a different direction depending on the wind.
This happens because of Limnic eruption from within the river Ilapor. The acidic matter mixes with the water, making it acidic. A lot of heat is produced during this eruption, producing this acidic cloud. It is relatively heavy which makes its ascention quite slow. The cloud doesn't move in any cardinal direction, until it has risen enough to be carried away by the stronger wind.
The cloud continually poors down and only stop once the cloud is empty. It can be very easily differentiated from normal clouds. instead of a white to black colouration, this cloud start with an army green colour and end as a lime green.
In most villages where this occurs, there are underground bunkers that protect the people. When the population of villages/cities expand it brings a couple of problems concerning this storm. It takes more time before everybody is evacuated. Occasionly people are left behind because of the rush to get to these bunkers in time. these people need to shelter themselves to the best of their ability in either their own home or another if the owners hadn't lock it.
Elvanar has figured out a way to make their houses resistant to this acid. The houses treated with a salve made of Scalva hich makes the more sturdily build able to withstand it enough so that it glides down the houses without damaging it. They haven't figured out yet how to actually catch the acid and to possilby make use of it, however they are getting closer with each storm.
