vessels of Aaru

This vessel is a large vehicle has a container full of cildral. This cart is used by the Purveyors of Aaru, who originate from Hyapalis.
Wherever the Purveyors of Aaru go with this, the people everywhere are glad to see them. Everybody who has coin for it will try to purchace this water considering how refreshing it is compared to all other liquids that they can drink.

Propulsion

This vessel is pulled forward by a Zelfarin crab. This is a huge crab that likes to live inside of oasises, though the Hyapalissens have found a way to tame these creatures with a promise of getting cildral.
The crab that pulls the carriage forward is attached with six ropes to one of its arms. This needs to be done considering the explosive speed that it moves with. There have been multiple incidents where they tried it with four or five where the ropes would snap when the crab ran away.

Weapons & Armament

There is a very simple system in place for the ropes. When the vessel needs to be protected the ropes can quickly be removed and let the the crab free able to help fight of enemies. Usually on travels the merchants have hired Hands of Hapi. These warriors have weapons where the blade that is usually made of iron or some kind of metal replaced by frozen cildral. These weapons will not meld under the sun, however some have melted under the use of magical fire against it.

Armor and defense

The carriage is coated with a very thin layer of frozen cildral. This has two significant effects. The first it allows the carriage to be more resistand against physical attacks, making it harder for especially arrows to pierce through it. This coating also provides a cool interior for the merchants and the Hands of Hapi for the journey.

Hangars & docked vessels

There are some merchants who have become rich enough to purchase another one of these vessels. Though it is infrequent when it happens the second one will have a system that allows it to be attached to the first one. With the strength of the crab it isn't much of a difference in speed though there need to be made some additional agreements with it because of the extra weight.
