- Growing Stage. During this stage the Bokker Floop grows from is infant size, ranging from 1.5 m/250 kg - 2.5 m/600 kg, to its adult size, ranging from 8 m/13 t - 11 m/20 t. Some rare cases never progress further than this stage and are called sleeping giants. These specimens grow indefinitely. One case is known to have grown to the size of a small hill and being capable to cause small volcanic eruptions with his ambush attacks. It was killed shortly after discovery by the local Acolytes.
- Mating Stage. After 10-20 years the Bokker Floop enters a four-year mating season in which the male will establish a harem of up to twelve females with which he frequently mates. During this time he can produce up to one hundred new offspring. This four-year periode is the most dangerous to his surrounding as he needs up to 10x his normal food intake.
- Retirement Stage. After finishing his mating stage the Bokker Floop retreats to a more secluded region where he will spend his days sleeping on trees or in caves. Only rarely will he awake from his slumber and hunt in his near vicinity.
Ecology and Habitats
The Bokker Floop requires a mix of dense forest and clearings. They prefer wood edges or narrow valleys in which they can hunt most efficiently.
Dietary Needs and Habits
At its core the Bokker Floop is a vicious predator. Out in the wild he doesn't have any natural enemies. This leads to most wildlife avoiding regions in which they reside. Thus, they had to resort to their brutal ambush tactics. They will set themselves up in a hidden area with sights on a clearing about 50-150 m away. There they will wait for hours until prey enters the clearing. They will then thrust themselves almost completely silent into the air, only to crash down with gigantic force onto their target. These landings send out shock waves and earthquakes for miles. Underneath their belly the mushed pray is then licked up quietly.
In some rare cases the Bokker Floop has also been seen running after his prey, making use of his large array of teeth to devour a caught pray in seconds.
