Júlia "Artemis" Montrose
Júlia was born in 2024 just over a year after the Arasaka Tower was blown up.
Her parents had been edge runners in the glory days of the 2020’s to hear their tales they run with Silverhand and Blackhand. They were working for a minor player in the 4th Corp War and after it came to such a sudden end they took the chance to “retire” at least in the short term. She grew up moving around various combat zones often with her family traveling with various Nomad gangs of the Viper Accord family, it may not have been living the high life but she never went hungry and her parents happily taught her the skills and morals she would need to survive the world of Red. Whilst they earned cash doing jobs for the nomads she spent quite a bit of time with Ricer, a young boy who also grew up in the Combat Zone. When he needed out of the Zone her family put him in touch with the Accord who took him in they stayed in touch even when not traveling with the same parts of the family.
Around 2038 her parents were away with work and she spent a few months running with a street gang, she was infatuated with one of the members, a handsome boy the other kids called Johnny who liked to sing the old Samurai songs. She did ultimately outgrow her crush but stayed friends with the boy and occasionally did jobs for him later in life.
By 2041 she was helping her parents on jobs, this went well for about a year and half then disaster struck. One of the people they were working with turned out to be a corrupt cop who stitched up the other members of the crew, fortunately he wasn’t able to frame Júlia, but her father was arrested and her mother framed for murder of a lawman and has had to leave Night City. All she has to remember them currently is an old photo of the 3 of them.
For the last 3 years she has been honing her skills and building up a selection of contacts she will need to clear her family name, in that time she has noticeably come more shy and less trusting and kept people at a distance more.
She still has close friends from before, those she can trust. The closest probably being Marcus "RIcer" Ricerrion alongside Johnny and a couple of former lovers both short lived in her teenage years, one has become a fixer the other a solo as well.. She has also managed to become the target of a fixer who for some unknown reason has it in for her, Júlia has no idea why.
She is around 5’7” and athletically built. light skinned of mexican descent, her hair is a mix of blues and pinks currently but has been known to change over time. She has no obvious cyber wear. She dresses typically in rugged clothing reminiscent of nomad wear but with a set of spiked boots with a 3 inch heel.
