Tyranix
Tyranix is the evil god of war and tyranny, representing that seized through might of arms. He prizes order and domination above all else, with the weak serving the strong and all being regimented in his service. Laws must be followed to the letter, irrespective of the harm they may cause, and only the strong are worthy to rule.
Alignment. Tyranix is Lawful Evil, and demands the same of his followers and clerics.
Divine Domains
Tyranix' clerics are granted powers from the domains of Order, Strength and War.
Portfolios. The god of War holds the portfolios of Ambition, Power, Domination, Terror, Discipline, Willpower, Organised Warfare, Tyranny and Hate. His positive aspect is Self Mastery - knowing one's own virtues and vices and controlling them through self-discipline.
Artifacts
The Nullstone is a major holy artifact of Tyranix in Zardis, where it creates an anti-magic field where only divine magic granted by Tyranix can function. The Zardiz view arcane magic in particular as a perversion of the laws of reality - and of Tyranix - and thus all arcane magic is outlawed. Any spellcasters who do not serve Tyranix are sacrificed over the Nullstone, their blood powering it and allowing the steady expansion of its anti-magic field.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Depiction. Tyranix is always depicted wearing the robes of a judge covering a suit of full plate armour. His left hand bears a sword or mace, while his raised right hand bears rings on several fingers and holds a length of spiked chain. His face is always concealed by a helmet, showing only burning red eyes in its depths, and the helm is surmounted by an ornate golden crown.
The symbol of Tyranix is a clenched six-fingered fist holding a length of chain, usually spiked, with a ornate and jewelled ring on one finger of the fist.
Tenets of Faith
COMMANDMENTS OF TYRANIX
- All serve My will. Bring defeat and Order to those who would defy Me.
- The weak, serve; The strong, rule. Be the strong.
- Punish disloyalty and rebellion severely.
Holidays
Tyranix does not have holy days as such, instead demanding the regular sacrifice of sentients who oppose his will.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Tyranix' ultimate goal is to rule over all of existence. He has been repeatedly defeated in this goal by the other gods and the efforts of the followers of the gods of Good, and this fills him with rage. He has many plans to conquer the Sundered Lands through his mortal followers, some short term and others long term.
