Batavia

Batavia is an Atoll off of the Isle of Baramore. Large for an Atoll, Batavia has three small villages surrounded by a collection of farms. Batavia also has grazing fields filled with cattle.
Batavia is also known by some as Springside, named after the largest village on the Atoll.

Geography

Batavia has a large flat surface, ideal for farms and fields. There is a large spring that comes to the surface in Springside, before wending its way across the Atoll and ending in a marsh in the Westwood.

Government

Batavia has a council, called the Council of Batavia, formed from 4 members from each village. The Council of Batavia meets in a councilhouse in Marksberry.

Natural Resources

Batavia exports leather and meat from its cattle industry. It also has an export of food crops, but not a large amount.
