Mythal creation also requires the willing sacrifice of someone with the same blood as you. My mother, your grandmother, led a group of casters and gave her life so that the estate would always be a safe haven for our family. As long as one Ardashir still exists, the mythal will stand eternal. Hidden and secret [DMs note: The Mythal uses Ghost magic making it undetectable by Detect Magic and Identify. Only someone with True Sight can see the magic infused with everything on the estate and only someone that casts a legend lore on the property can learn its functions." "The estate not only protects you and your kin. You can also protect the members of your noble house as well. Using a special magical object infused with your blood. Just a drop is enough (placed in a pendant, ring, or even a weapon) the estate will extend its protections to them. These items are called minor House Vessels and each one can be created in a day's work." "You and those who carry your house vessel gain several benefits. They will always be quick, alert, and have protection from both evil and good. Additionally they can call upon the Guards and Wards to protect the inside of the house." [DMs note: Minor Vessel bearers gain the following benefits at all times while on the grounds of the estate: • Initiative is always 20 + Dex modifier • The benefits of the Alert Feat • Protection from Good and Evil as per the spell • Activate or Deactivate the Guards and Wards spell and immune to its effects] "If there was more time I would pass the knowledge of how to create a greater House Vessel, one that grants not only protection but special powers as well. Regretfully, there is no time for me to teach you that, it took me months to learn and master. For that you will need to find another teacher." "You, your offspring, and anyone with a Greater House Vessel also gain additional benefits. You can call upon the estate to repair itself should it become damaged, though be warned that any additions to the estate after the mythal was created will likely be destroyed. You can also call upon a barrier of force to protect the estate from assault, choosing what to let through and what not to. As an added feature when you call upon the barrier, anyone not carrying a house vessel will be teleported to outside the barrier. Additionally, while on the estate it will be impossible for someone to scry upon you or your house members. Still be cautious when there are visitors to the estate for they do not get this protection." Additionally, anyone attempting to cast the Scry spell upon a starborne or greater house vessel holder on the estate must make a DC 18 saving throw or take 2d10 phychic damage and are stunned for 1 hour.
