Eastern Calendar (Religious Calendar)
12 months (named for the constelations) of 28 days divided into 3 seasons + 7 extra days (one for each of the gods) at the end/start of the year when the comet appears (336+7=343). The extra 7 days are called the holy week. Each day one of the major gods is celebrated. (-anbe=day).
The names for the days of the week follow this same order but drop the -Jan for the rest of the year. 1 Shabjan-anbe 2 Khabijan-anbe 3 Mahjan-anbe 4 Setarehjan-anbe 5 Mahvashjan-anbe 6 Anahitanbe 7 Atashanbe
