Order of Death

The name is rather on the nose, but ironically that forms one of the Order's greatest defenses. Whenever someone mentions them, the other person assumes that this couldn't possible exist as an organization because it's just so dang obvious.
In fact, the Order of Death is one of the longest continuously lasting organizations devoted to the art of assassination. They exist in the shadows only, and most people don't even know a rumor of their existence, let alone believe they're real. They do not take money for their jobs, and in fact contacting them can mean death if one is not subtle enough. You do not contact them for a job, they find you and either deem your cause worthy or else they kill you instead.
It is important to note that their moral code does not often align with the rest of the world and their qualifications for who is worthy can be rather arbitrary.
There are also rumors amongst those in the know that their members are chemically brainwashed and have no choice in carrying on the order's long standing traditions.
