One of the most diverse races on the planet. Monsters were once the terrors of the world and while still feared are relatively more humbled and less aggressive no longer under typhons control

The Monsters can almost look like anything. It all depends on what they were holding, wearing, or personality and thinking.

To become a monster a species must willingly consume a monster cell. Once consumed they can no longer reproduce.

Monsters grow near instantly and practically freeze in their age.
Ecology and Habitats
The optimal environment for monsters can be anything due to their adaptability.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Monsters do need to eat but depending on what they eat depends on how they adapted. Some only consume blood, some eat metal, and others plants.

Social Structure
Monsters respect the strongest. Not just physically but mentally. The clever can beat the strongest and vice versa so the mixed are the strongest.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Monsters are found all around the world but seem to mostly be in the land of Orum and Erebus where the nation of monsters live.
Average Intelligence
Monsters seem more aggressive than other races but it doesn't halt their intelligence. Being clever and with the ability to snap a man in two is very powerful indeed.

Perception can be anything depending on how they have mutated such as ecolocation or soul sense.

Most monsters speak the language they were raised with though they do seem to have a strange connection to other monsters.
History
The Monsters were first created back in 2030's by a man named Typhon. He was a Nightstalker and experiment to Zagara granting him his own hive mind that his power was connected too. The first monsters were part of an Alien Terrorist group that despised humanity and wanted to take earth for themselves. Some of the First monsters were Thresher, Drendarious, and Nundark along with other Rebels.
The monsters would commit acts around the city that increased fear. Soon more aliens joined the Monster Association and eventually created the most powerful and dangerous Entity. Crimson Eden. A purified monster combining Eden and Crimson Specter. Along with Fooples and Sonic boom as they added humans to their fold.
Eventually Monsters waged war on Orum and split it in two and naming one half Erebus. They enslaved hundreds of civilians and gassed them with a monster gas that would go into their dreams and make them accept monsterfication until they became beta monsters on typhons will.
Once Typhon was killed though the Hive mind severed. Leaving millions of monsters without leadership and the chemical altering typhon did to their brains.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Monsters have a rough relationship with all other races after disconnecting from Typhon. There are currently protests in order to give monsters rights as legally they do not share human rights like the other aliens.
