Military: Battle

The War For Despratador started with a bang- as the Foundation Cleared out the Prison of Cultists of Cat also known as Pandora. The Silver Lynx Navy Blockaded the city and rammed a plane clean into a tower spreading zerum gas into the city below. The War was hard fought until eventually the Silver Lynx brought out their experimental weapon that was stopped by Gilgamesh in exchange for his life.

The War for the Undercity which happened two weeks prior left Selevin in a state of panic as Union seeked to rebuild and accommodate for all the people of the undercity moving up into the now Butchers block. Leading up to the battle a passanger plane was hijacked by the Silver Lynx where the hero Vulcan was sent to respond. Unfortunately in exchange for the lives of the passengers the Silver lynx got to keep the plane which they would end up using as the signal the battle would begin.    Despratador would already have issues with the silver lynx infiltrating their political system and the Mayor was a sympathizer of the Silver Lynx. Prior to the invasion they set up radio towers around the city that doubled as Zerum wave projectors to coat the city in a depowering wave for when the invasion began. All they needed was the right time and that time would come when an elite foundation strike force went to remove the Chaos Cult let by Cat out of the Super Max prison.    At first it was calm, then the plane which streaked through the sky spilling out zerum gas before slamming into a tower exploding and sprinkling the city in zerum. The generators were active and the entire silver lynx navy would soon darken the ports of despratador. With a huge push they landed upon the city and would begin their march of slaughter and terror leaving none in their path alive, forcing non superzzz to comply and fight with them, and lining up superzzz in the streets and executing them. With their naval cannons they even leveled the prison so the Old Lynx could begin setting up their secret weapon upon the island. The heroes on the island such as Pirouette, Static, and Sir bearington. They were exhausted and flooded with zerum at this point and had to flee. Unluckily Sir Bearington was caught trying to leave and with one last push and sacrifice he held off the Old Lynx and his men who would end up shooting him down.   The battle raged. Heroes like Zodiac would perish to the captains of the Lynx. With the help of toby fletcher the heroes were able to reverse the zerum process and gain back their powers but the secret of how it was done was never revealed by fletcher. The heroes raced their way to the former prison island after the long fight. The silver lynx super weapon was a massive magic disintegrator beam, now powering up with the possibility of cleansing all organic life in its path. Sadly they didnt get close enough.   And Gilgamesh had to step in. Summoning a shield with the mighty strength of his power he formed one so large it would block the entire city. After an unfortunate deal his stamina drain was doubled and holding something like this would kill him in less than a minute but Gen would begin giving him her stamina and soon all the heroes were giving gen theirs for gilgamesh. Even the citizens banded together.   Meanwhile overbearer got around!! Twisting in and grabbing the old lynx. Ripping his body to shreds while keeping him alive so they could suck out the last of his life to fuel gilgamesh. Eventually. The Canon stopped. The Damage was done and Gilgamesh would die from the stamina drain. Static- pissed would absorb the entire city power grid and beyond and pump it into the forces of the lynx. Blowing up their naval vessels, tanks, mechs, and disabling weapons. The Battle was over and the city was saved but now without loss and devestation.
