Aasimar

Unlike most other races, Aasimar are not born but made. Though the knowledge of how to make Aasimar is limited, the most common theory is that babies of any race become an Aasimar when they have been left overnight in a sunstone grove shortly after birth.

Given the steadily decreasing number of sunstone groves, as well as the likelihood of a baby surviving a night alone due to exposure, Aasimar are rare to almost nonexistant.
