Dragonborn

Much like Tieflings, Dragonborns are the evidence of another bloodline running through a family line. Unlike Tieflings, Dragonborn are born into a family line when there has been an influx of draconic "relations." Given that most dragons are in the Feywild, dragonborn in a bloodline are obviously rare.

Dragonborn look much like their parent race, but they have draconic features such as scale patterned skin or slit pupil eyes. They may have other abilities tied to their heritage, but those are often less visible.

To birth a dragonborn child is considered shameful, or bad luck for the family. Most dragonborn are abandoned at birth in some orphanage or temple. Unlike Tieflings, they are not necessarily killed outright, but such events have been known to happen.
