Dwarves

Considered by all to be excellent and consummate diplomats, dwarves are found in nearly every country in some amount or another. Unlike the high-spirited elves, dwarves are level headed in almost all situations. Their love for diplomacy and bureaucracy is only superseded by their love of mining and crafting.

They are the only race willing to mine below the surface for sunstones, despite the danger of being so close to The Underdark.

Dwarves are characterized by their long beards on both the men and women. These beards are used as a status symbol, with various beads and braids woven into the beard that tell a Dwarf's life story.

While dwarves are spread across the continent, they congregate most heavily in the Nahimiri Pentarchy, Protectorate of Baedi, and in the city of Carn Avain located in the Ailaviran Empire.
