They gain a temporary boost to their Luck and Social skills, allowing them to navigate social situations with finesse and charm. For the next hour, the Dilettante gains a +2 bonus to Luck rolls. Additionally, the Dilettante's ability grants them an inherent knowledge of etiquette, social dynamics, and connections to influential circles. They may roll their Luck+1d6 and consult with the Game Master (GM) for advice or advantages related to social interactions, gathering information, or gaining access to exclusive locations. This sophisticated knowledge can open doors, help them uncover hidden secrets, or gain the favor of important figures, however, the Dilettante's reliance on their privileged background and elitist attitude comes with consequences. The Dilettante's polished demeanor and refined tastes may make it challenging for them to connect with individuals from different social backgrounds. Their refined nature and perceived sense of entitlement can create barriers to forming genuine connections with those outside their privileged world. The Dilettante may face difficulties in understanding and empathizing with the struggles of others, resulting in a temporary -1 penalty to Mind rolls related to empathy or resisting the loss of Sanity Points (SP).
