"Courage Under Fire" Resilient Protector - The Firefighter is a fearless individual trained to combat fires, save lives, and protect the community. Once per session, the Firefighter can activate their ability:
Resilient Resolve: The Firefighter's unwavering courage and determination come to the forefront. They gain a temporary boost to their Body and Willpower stats, reflecting their physical resilience and mental fortitude in the face of danger. For the next hour, the Firefighter gains a +2 bonus to Body and Luck rolls. Additionally, the Firefighter's ability allows them to utilize their firefighting skills and protective instincts to navigate hazardous environments, rescue trapped individuals, and extinguish fires. They may roll their Body+Luck+1d6 and consult with the Game Master (GM) for guidance or advantages related to firefighting tasks, such as handling emergency situations, maintaining composure under pressure, or leading others to safety. Their experience as a first responder can provide them with insights, strategic advantages, or opportunities to demonstrate exceptional bravery. Moreover, the Firefighter's physical conditioning and knowledge of fire behavior make them adept at assessing risks, implementing safety measures, or improvising solutions in chaotic situations. They have an advantage in tasks related to firefighting, handling hazardous materials, or providing emergency medical aid, however, the Firefighter's continuous exposure to dangerous situations and traumatic events may result in potential emotional strain or impairments to their mental well-being. While activating their ability, the Firefighter suffers a temporary -1 penalty to their Sanity stat, reflecting the toll of their work and the potential vulnerability they face when confronted with life-threatening scenarios.
