  "Preserving the Past" Guardian of Knowledge - The Historian is a meticulous scholar of the past, dedicated to preserving and unraveling the secrets of history. Once per session, the Historian can activate their ability:   Historical Insight: The Historian's deep knowledge and expertise in historical research come to the forefront. They gain a temporary boost to their Mind and Luck stats, reflecting their keen intellect and fortune in uncovering hidden knowledge. For the next hour, the Historian gains a +2 bonus to Mind and Luck rolls. Additionally, the Historian's ability allows them to tap into their extensive knowledge of history to interpret ancient texts, analyze artifacts, or make significant connections between events. They may roll their Mind+Luck+1d6 and consult with the Game Master (GM) for guidance or advantages related to historical tasks, such as deciphering ancient languages, piecing together fragmented information, or gaining insights into historical events. Their historical insight can provide them with valuable information, strategic advantages, or opportunities to uncover hidden truths. Moreover, the Historian's expertise in research methods, archival practices, and historical contexts make them adept at uncovering overlooked details, recognizing patterns, or understanding the significance of historical findings. They have an advantage in tasks related to historical research, identifying the origins of artifacts, or analyzing historical documents, however, the Historian's relentless pursuit of the past may lead them into perilous situations or put them at odds with individuals or supernatural forces seeking to distort or erase history. Their dedication to preserving the truth may result in potential difficulties in physical confrontations or situations requiring technical expertise outside their historical field. As a result, they may suffer a temporary -1 penalty to Body rolls for physical challenges or Technical rolls unrelated to historical research.
