Insightful Analysis: The Researcher's extensive research and analytical prowess come to the forefront. They gain a temporary boost to their Mind stat, enabling them to uncover valuable information and hidden truths more effectively. For the next hour, the Researcher gains a +2 bonus to Mind related rolls. Additionally, when faced with a mystery or an enigma tied to the supernatural or occult, the Researcher can use their ability to gain a deeper understanding. They may roll their Mind+Investigation+1d6 and consult with the Game Master (GM) for one piece of crucial information or a clue related to the mystery at hand. This information could provide insight into a weakness of a particular creature, the location of a hidden artifact, or an understanding of the supernatural phenomenon they are facing, however, the Researcher's relentless pursuit of knowledge can lead to an obsessive and detached demeanor. While their ability grants them valuable insights, it also affects their mental health. The Researcher suffers a temporary -1 penalty to Sanity rolls for the duration of their ability, reflecting their single-minded focus on intellectual pursuits.
