They gain a temporary boost to their Mind and Luck stats, reflecting their compassionate nature and ability to inspire positive change. For the next hour, the Social Worker gains a +2 bonus to Mind and Luck rolls. Additionally, the Social Worker's ability allows them to tap into their expertise in counseling, interpersonal skills, and community support to provide guidance, comfort, and assistance to those in need. They may roll their Mind+Luck+1d6 and consult with the Game Master (GM) for guidance or advantages related to tasks involving emotional support, conflict resolution, or understanding complex social dynamics. Their empathetic aura can provide them with insights, strategic advantages, or opportunities to diffuse tense situations or establish meaningful connections. Moreover, the Social Worker's knowledge of social systems, crisis intervention, and advocacy makes them adept at identifying resources, mediating disputes, or navigating complex social structures. They have an advantage in tasks related to conflict resolution, negotiation, or providing emotional support to others, however, the Social Worker's unwavering dedication to helping others may expose them to emotionally draining situations or put them at odds with individuals who resist change or harbor ill intentions, and their commitment to supporting the vulnerable results in potential difficulties in their own coping abilities, leading to a temporary loss of -1 Sanity Point for the duration of their ability.
