The Sylvar Family

Powerful family known for their longevity, mining operations, and unique family tree. Because the Sylvars are completely Owlkin, they reproduce asexually and never need to marry. Occasionally they will marry as a political move, but they are then not allowed to have children. There is currently one of such marriage in the family, between William Blackwell and Faes Sylvar. 

They are notable for their universal respect from all the noble families; however, this respect has been reduced since the Conquest of Reigan, as it is thought that they leaked information to Emperor Valtarian in turn for favor after the end of the war, more specifically, Cyrn Sylvar's position as Grand Viceroy.
