Roven grew up in a small town, the leader of his town, Odier, grew interest in his mother, Jowenna, and soon became a father figure in his life. As He got older, Roven began to notice the gravity of Odier and Joweena’s relationship. When he turned 22, Roven married a girl from two towns over. Her name was Lian, she made Roven a better man. Lian became pregnant, Odier was the first to find out and in an episode of rage, he murdered Lian and the baby. When Roven found out, he was outraged. He tried to get revenge with Odier, but was taken away by Odier’s men and experimented with for half a decade. Five years later, Odier’s men tried to strengthen his intelligence, when attempting this, Rovens mind tapped into a realm of Gods. His body presented in the realm, Cthulhu noticed him and traded his enthusiasm for large swooping tentacles to help him escape.
