Anatomy
The Giant Grizzly has thick brown fur, four broad legs, and a stubby tail. The bear has large paws, on the front two paws the bear has long hooked claws which it uses like knives.
Genetics and Reproduction
Giant Grizzly Bears reproduce once a year in winter just before hibernation.
Growth Rate & Stages
The cubs are born in the early spring and take about 10 months to become experienced enough to fend for themselves. The cubs grow from baby to full maturity in 3 years.
Ecology and Habitats
The Giant Grizzly's ideal habitat is a wooded area which is near a river.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The Giant Grizzly bears are omnivores. The bear's diet consists of berries, seeds, roots and other meats which they can scavenge. During the autumn (fall) months the bears hunt Salmon which are plentiful in the rivers and streams. Salmon is the favourite food of the Giant Grizzly Bears. During times where food is scarce, times such as winter, Giant Grizzly Bears will fight over food
Biological Cycle
The Bears grow to full physical maturity in 3 years. The bears in the most northern regions hibernate during the winter months, though this is not necessary for the bears who live south enough to experience only mild winters.

Giant Grizzly bears live in close proximity to each other but are in no way a pack animal. They are lone hunters and only exist close to each other due to high concentrations of food in certain areas.
Domestication
Domestication is difficult, although possible. In ages past Slatovian warriors used to use the bears like horses and ride them into battle.
