Grey Wolves come into heat once a year, and each female wolf can bear a litter of up to three puppies.

The Grey Wolf can adapt to any environment on The Continent. They can survive in the most northern regions of The Slatovian Empire where it is cold and snowy, and thrive in the forests and rolling hills of Terra and The Iron Star Pact.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Wolves are scavengers, they will eat almost anything they can find. Although the Grey Wolves have a preference for meat and blood. In the northern reaches of The Slatovian Empire the Grey Wolves hunt for elk, foxes, and rabbits. In Terra and The Iron Star Pact wolves have been known to hunt mainly for Elk.
When a grey wolf gets ravenous it may resort to hunting humans for food, or even to cannibalism.

Social Structure

Grey Wolves are pack animals and travel in pack of between 8 - 10. Although super packs of wolves which can reach sizes of up to 30 have been rumoured to exist deep in the forests of Terra.
Each pack of Grey Wolves have a leader known as The Alpha Male, the second in command of this pack is The Alpha Female. These Alpha wolves are the authority within the pack and get to eat the most recent kill before any of the other pack members. Alpha Wolves are often challenged by other pack members who vie to gain the title of Alpha.

Domestication

Grey Wolves are unable to be domesticated, unlike other wolf species that were domesticated into dogs over thousands of years, Grey Wolves are far too intelligent and aggressive to be tamed by humans.
There are some mages who claim that Grey Wolves can be controlled by magic.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Grey Wolf Pelts can be harvested from the corpses of Grey Wolves and sold for gold.
