The Relics which may be located within the Aye'ston ruins

Written in 1135 by Master Scholar Miykal Drak'kal (M Mosson)
Aye'ston was an Elven settlement located within the Ayrshire Mountains. It was also used as a shortcut route through the Ayrshire Mountains. Allowing the Elven armies to move from coast to coast very quickly. During the Human-Elven war for control of The Continent, the human armies disliked the fact that the Elves had such a useful route and defensible position. After spies revealed the location to them, the humans tried attacking the location many times. Each time they tried to attack they suffered huge loses. Deciding that attacking Aye'ston was an effective tactic, the humans used magic and explosives to collapse all of the entrances in and out of Aye'ston and Aye'roc. This trapped all of the inhabitants of the settlement within.

Aye'ston and Aye'roc were very important locations for the Elves back when they ruled The Continent. The city was located far underground like a dwarven settlement. This gave them access to rare and valuable metals which allowed them to craft extremely strong weapons and armours. These armours and weapons are not the only reason to search these ruins however, it is rumoured that an ancient artefact known as The Sky Stone is located in the heart of the ruins. It is speculated by some Elven Scholars back on Na'hal that this stone could be used to decimate massive armies in battles without needing to sacrifice even one of your own army. After activating the stone, fire and massive rocks would fall onto the enemy's army from the sky.

Beside gaining powerful artefacts gaining access to Aye'ston and Aye'roc would give an army a very easily defensible position, and a safe route through the Ayrshire Mountains. Clearing the rubble from both sides of the tunnel would be an arduous task, taking weeks if not months to fully complete.

As unlikely as it may be it is also still possible that at least some of the Elves who lived in Aye'ston could still survive. I have read of magical incantations and techniques which allowed ancient elves used to slow their metabolic systems to allow them to hibernate for hundreds of years, not even needing to eat or drink. If even one Elf could have done this, and still survives within the pass, they could be great help to the cause of the Elven Empire.
