Queen Aelyntie Wynnan is the ruler of Pewhiyrhiel. She is a small elf woman with pale skin and a small, pointed face, with bright, intelligent eyes. Pale blond hair is piled high on her head in an intricate hairstyle, the crown of her office nestled carefully. She is slim with narrow hips and lean limbs. Aelyntie is young for an elf, she inherited the throne when her father died, not long after the Wild Basin war. Her husband died of illness, she had one child with him, Prince Golfred Wynnan. Aelyntie is restrained, rarely expressing emotion. She believes in honouring the centuries-old legacy of her people and their political traditions. Her court is ruled by ritual. Aelyntie is considered more skilled at statecraft than her father.
